I've seen this in a few other ljs and thought I'd give it a shot.

I watched at least 93 movies in 2007. There's more, but since I had to do the recovery thing on my laptop I lost the updated version of my movie list and the copy I had was last been updated in September.

Rules and Guidelines:

1. Watch 100 movies or more in 2008.
2. Keep track of how many I watch.
3. First time movies only.
4. Leaving entry public.

Movies - 2008 )

and I moved the year ahead so it's easier for me to find and update.

Holiday Wish Meme

Step One

- Make a post (public, friends-locked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

- If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ so that the holiday joy will spread.

Step Two

- Surf around your friends list (or friends' friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

my wishlist
(email me at poofusgirl@livejournal.com if you need my mailing address)

1. Gift cards to Michael's, Borders/Barnes & Noble, Target, Cost Plus, and Wal-Mart.
2. paid lj and icon time
3. books you no longer read and want to get rid of. I like chic-lit, cookbooks, romance (harlequin blaze, romance and superromance the most).
4. anything with fairies or butterflies on it.
5. arts/crafts supplies you don't need/want anymore. I don't care if its partially used or whatever. Scrapbook and jewelry making supplies are what I use most.
6. gift cards/money for food/gas/car insurance (I shop at Safeway and Save Mart for groceries and I usually get my gas from Valero or AM/PM, though anywhere is fine (but I drive a 93 Cadillac so it takes high octane gas).
7. photos/post cards from where you live
8. a donation to St. Jude's.
9. check out my interests in my user profile and send me something based on what you see.
10. anything related to supernatural, veronica mars or grey's anatomy. except for fic.
